Zbyněk Fišer and the State Security 1949–1989
In this lecture, historian Petr Blažek will discuss the complex and varied relationship between writer and philosopher Zbyněk Fišer and the Czechoslovak State Security. From 1961, with interruptions, until 1989, Zbyněk Fišer—who wrote under the pseudonym Egon Bondy—collaborated with the secret police. The lecture will also shed light on his handlers and address various myths that have surrounded his cooperation. The topic is explored in detail in a recently published book co-authored by Petr Blažek and Miroslav Vodrážka.
Lecture Will be in Czech Language.
