Ondřej Konrád & Gumbo

Ondřej Konrád, harmonica player and vocalist, has been active on the scene since the 1980s
(Luboš Andršt, Blues Session, Binder - Konrád, Šavle Meče, etc.). The band Gumbo was
founded at the beginning of the millennium and has performed abroad (Germany, France,
Belgium, Poland, Slovakia). In its work it combines mainly modern blues with jazz, rock and
funk.

After a long hiatus, the group returned to activity in 2024. The line-up still includes guitarist Josef
Stepanek and bassist Dan Eberle, with newcomers keyboardist Jan Steinsdörfer and drummer
Miloš Dvořáček, all first-class professional instrumentalists. And Gumbo continues to develop
the distinctive, varied style presented on his own CD Aspoň jednu krásu světa (Indies Happy
Trials, 06).
