Gwyn Ashton
Ex-Band of Friends award-winning guitar legend Gwyn Ashton returns to Europe from Australia in 2025 for his Mojo Soul tour! He’s shared stages with rock royalty and wowed global crowds and is available for bookings for an acoustic solo show or as an electric/acoustic one-man band.
Ashton has appeared on Czech National TV and his first concert in Czechia was with B.B. King at Golem Blues Festival.
He has played at Blues Alive, Lucerna Music Club and is a regular performer at Jazz Dock.
He is playing Boskovice 2025 and Dobrofest in Slovakia.
Beyond his success as a solo artist, Gwyn Ashton also works alongside other musicians.
He has recorded with artists from Guns N’ Roses, Deep Purple, Whitesnake, and Robert Plant’s and Rory Gallagher’s bands on his albums Fang It!, Prohibition and Radiogram.
Ashton has co-headlined: Adelaide Guitar Festival with Chris Finnen, Guitar Heroes Festival in Germany with Mick Taylor (Rolling Stones), the Garden Blues Festival in Marseilles, France with Robben Ford and has toured over 30 countries including Brazil, Mexico and Russia.
He played 15 UK dates including Wembley Arena with Status Quo, Cognac Blues Passions (France) with Ray Charles, the Golem Blues Fest in Czechia with B.B. King, North Bucks Folk & Blues Festival (UK) with Peter Green.
He toured Europe with Canned Heat, Johnny Winter, Hubert Sumlin, The Yardbirds, The Troggs, Wishbone Ash, Robin Trower, Tony Joe White, Jeff Healey, Roger Chapman and others.
Formerly with Virgin Records, France, Gwyn Ashton has been invited on stage with Mick Fleetwood, Hubert Sumlin, Canned Heat, Walter Trout, Elliot Randall (Steely Dan) and many others.
