Chorobopop

On their latest album Svobodě na stopě, Chorobopop revealed their two faces — post-punk and synth-pop — effectively creating a split album with themselves. Seasoned musicians Daniel Stibor (Ctib), Pavel Zajíc (Zay), and Petr Gojtka (Keč) returned to their punk roots on one hand, while also stepping away from familiar territory by recording an album that is, in half, entirely synth-pop. The result reaffirmed the status they had already earned during their time with their previous band Telefon — some of the most interesting records on the Czech independent scene are still being made in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm.
