noise rock

Lyssa, one of the last of the founding generation of the Silver Rocket label, apparently exists outside of time, space and any current events. The band has been on the scene long enough to consider a well-deserved rest, but they seem to stubbornly reject the notion. It's as if each new year gives them a new dose of energy and the will to keep exploring how much mess can be made in the most classic power trio, what can be hidden behind the already ancient label "noise rock" and what more can be extracted from their still well-preserved but nevertheless dilapidating bodies. Their latest record, 2018's Bipolar, is still relevant: for Lyssa, a few years and a worldwide pandemic is like a handshake.
