Katarzia, a prominent personality of the Czech and Slovak scene, singer, composer and lyricist, has released her sixth studio album entitled "Št'astné dítě". The new songs were composed by Katarzia largely on the piano, and the producer and founder of the Animal Music label Petr Ostrouchov (who has also worked with Vladimir Misik, Lenka Dusilova and Beata Hlavenkova) collaborated with her on the arrangement and production. Katarzia also invited young Slovak pianist Kristina Smetanova, drummer Roman Vícha and bassist Tomáš Liška. The song Piesok features a guest appearance on trumpet by Swedish trumpeter Oskar Stenmark and vocalist Stephanie Alvarenga, both of whom live in New York. Thanks to her distinctive lyrics, Katarzia is often referred to as the voice of her generation. With openness and empathy, she speaks about the current feelings of women through images of interpersonal relationships in the contemporary world.

Katarzia has in the interim period after the release of her previous album "n5" (2021) composed for the TV series "Pozadí událostí" directed by Jan Hřebejk, for the feature documentary directed by Jarmila Štuková "Moje nová tvář" and for theatre performances. She also collaborated on the successful project HORÁČEK GEN XYZ for the Prague Circus La Putika, where together with several other producers and musicians she reworked Michal Horáček's lyrics and compositions. In the past, Katarzia has won among others the Radio Head Awards and her work has been recognized by the prestigious Berlinare Festival.
