Dežo Hoffmann was not only an outstanding photographer who was at the beginning of the Beatles' career and created their visual identity. As a war cameraman he shot in Abyssinia, during the Civil War in Spain and in 1940 in England he joined the Czechoslovak army. "It's incredible how the director and his crew managed to find all kinds of previously unknown (not only) visual materials and then, together with the editor and producer Patrik Pašš, to wade through the enormous amount and create a unique film form that holds and doesn't let go. A pure documentary. And a great story.", wrote Petr Procházka in UNI magazine.
